The International Junior Thespian Society

The International Junior Thespian Society is the only organization to honor middle-level students for outstanding work in theatre. Membership is granted for the performance of meritorious work in theatre arts. Specifically, students become members by earning points for their work. Any student who has participated in at least two productions for a total of fifty hours of work is eligible for Thespian Society membership. Induction of new members usually occurs in the fall and spring of each year.

Meetings are held once a month (usually the last Friday of the month) before school in the Black Box Theatre. The Thespian Society has a community service project each year and sponsors the Rosemary Behrens One Act Play Festival.

Sponsors of the International Junior Thespian Society are Mr. Drisdale and Miss Broadhead.
